Addicted to porn

OCTOBER 7–A Minnesota teenager arrested for burglarizing a neighbor’s home told cops that she sought to steal cash and household items to help pay for her pornography addiction, according to a police report.
Amanda Owens, 18, was nabbed this week for allegedly squeezing through the doggy door to get into Darin Pake’s home in East Bethel. Pake told Anoka County Sheriff’s Office deputies that he set up a hidden camera after his home had been burglarized several times last week.
On Monday, the camera recorded Owens slipping into Pake’s home around 8 AM. “The defendant is seen walking throughout the house, rummaging through Mr. Pake’s things,” according to a probable cause statement. When questioned by investigators, Owens reportedly copped to entering Pake’s home on several occasions (via the doggy door) and stealing a jar of money and a camera, which she planned to pawn. The teenager, deputies noted, “stated she is addicted to pornography and purchased 20 to 30 DVD’s and owed money, that’s why she burglarized Mr. Pake’s home in attempt to get items to pawn for cash.”

they still sell proactiv, right?

That's so Favre

"While Iowa continues its preparations for the season, sophomore running back Brandon Wegher remains at home in South Dakota , making his status uncertain. Hawkeyes coach Kirk Ferentz is waiting for word from Wegher about whether he will join the team. "I guess all I can say is we all have periods in our lives where we reflect a little bit and think about things," Ferentz said. "I think that's pretty much where he's at right now, sorting through some things. We're certainly hopeful that he chooses to come back. It's going to be his decision, either way." Wegher ran for a 641 yards and set a school record for freshman with eight touchdowns last season. He was to compete with fellow sophomores Jewel Hampton and Adam Robinson for playing time." Bro, enough with the Brett Favre like drama. Make up your mind already. Check out more coverage of the Wegher drama here: Black Heart Gold Pants

A Heartless Woman

Mindy Greany WATERLOO,IA --- A Grundy Center woman has been sentenced to prison for stealing from people with disabilities. As a credit counseling company employee, Mindy Sue Greany, 31, oversaw the funds of the blind and mentally challenged --- people who needed help keeping track of their money. Instead, she siphoned more than $100,000 from their accounts at Family Management Credit Counselors in Waterloo. On Friday, District Court Judge Margaret Lingreen sentenced Greany to spend up to 10 years in prison for her pleas to six counts of first-degree theft, eight counts of second-degree theft and one count of third-degree theft. One of the credit counseling clients had a simple question for Greany when he took the witness stand during sentencing. "He said 'Why did you steal from me?'" said Roger Goldsberry, director of Family Management Credit Counselors. Greany was an administrative assistant at the organization and took money between July 2003 and July 27, 2...

"Love it or Leave it Color Coordination"

From BHGP.com: [Memo dictated by Tad Shamarharhar, Assistant Athletic Director for Color Coordination, Wave Production and Rhythmic Chanting, for general release] "The Penn State game was a great success. I don't think anyone thought we could get the Kinnick crowd to pull off the stripe effect, but we did it. Note to self: if I ever realize my lifelong dream of pulling off a coup d'etat in this country, remember that the Iowans follow directions well. Very well. Don't write that last part down. It was an impressive effort, but I think we have just touched the tip of the iceberg in terms of fan color coordination. We can, nay, we must go farther. Here are the color coordination instructions I have prepared for the Wisconsin game: If you are sitting in section 122, row 45, seats 1-15, you should wear navy If you are sitting in section 122, row 45, seats 16-25, you should wear royal blue If you are sitting in section 122, row 45, seats 26-40, you should wea...
